Bryan David Castro Sosa, known professionally as Ryan Castro, is a Colombian reggaeton singer, songwriter, and rapper. Born on January 14, 1994, in Bello, Antioquia, he was raised in the Pedregal neighborhood of Medellín. Castro began his musical endeavors at the age of 17 by performing on public transit buses. He officially entered the music industry in 2017 with the release of his single "Morena," and later gained wider industry recognition through his association with fellow artist Kevin Roldan.
Known by the moniker "El Cantante del Ghetto," Castro's musical style primarily blends reggaeton, rap, and dancehall. He achieved worldwide recognition with hit singles such as "Quema," "Jordan," "Mujeriego," and "Monastery." Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with prominent Latin artists, including Karol G and Peso Pluma.
