Jowell & Randy is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo consisting of Joel Muñoz Martínez (Jowell), born March 3, 1982, and Randy Ortiz Acevedo (Randy), born July 16, 1983. Formed in the early 2000s, the duo became prominent figures in the reggaeton and urbano latino genres. In addition to their work as a duo, they participated in the short-lived group Casa de Leones alongside Guelo Star and the duo J King & Maximan.
The duo has achieved several notable international milestones, becoming the first reggaeton acts to perform in Monaco and the first reggaeton duo to perform on stage in Australia.
With an active catalog spanning several decades, they have continued releasing music into the mid-2024 and 2025 seasons. Their recent body of work includes the 2024 albums "Viva La Musik" and "Mazorkeo.com", as well as a series of 2025 singles including "GPS", "B.L.A.S.S.", "Carrusel", and "Siguelo".
