Christian Alicea is a Puerto Rican salsa and tropical music singer and percussionist originally from the municipality of Lares, Puerto Rico. Prior to pursuing his music career full-time, Alicea served as a firefighter in Puerto Rico. His background in percussion and rhythm helped shape his style as a vocalist in the contemporary salsa scene.
Alicea has been active with releases since 2019. His catalog features the 2024 album "Yo Deluxe" and the 2025 album "Swingkete Vol. 1 - Maratón." Throughout this period, he has released a variety of singles, including "Voy A Beber," "Me Lo Gozo," "Carrusel," "Si Llamas," and "Hello,What's Up." He has also collaborated with other artists, notably featuring Rafa Pabón on "Qué Culpa Tengo Yo" and working alongside DJ Nelson, DJ Buddha, and Eliot el Mago D Oz on the "RD (Salsa Remix)."
As his music gained traction in countries such as the United States, Colombia, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic, Alicea's professional growth was recognized by Billboard, which named him a Latin Artist on the Rise.
