Orquesta Calibre is a Colombian salsa group formed in Cali, Colombia, focused on creating contemporary salsa, timba, and salsa choke. The group established their presence with early single releases such as "Te Extraño" and "Timba y Guaguancó" in 2017, followed by "Mi Corazón" and "Negro Soy" in 2018. Their 2019 single "Cali Calentura" sought to capture the spirit of their home city, alongside other tracks like "Charrupi" and "Vente Negra."
In 2024, Orquesta Calibre released the album "Cali Havana Sessions." Recorded across both Cali, Colombia, and Havana, Cuba, the project featured collaborations with numerous musicians to blend the distinct sounds of both locations. The group's catalog also includes singles such as "Razón y Sentimiento" (2020), "Mala Actitud" (2020), and "Solo Tú" (2023).
