Kola Loka is a Cuban musical group known for their fusion of genres, particularly cubaton (Cuban reggaeton) and timba. Emerging in the late 2000s, the group distinguished itself within the urban Cuban music scene by incorporating slower, softer rhythms and diverse musical fusions into their sound. In 2011, Kola Loka was recognized as the year's best Cuban Reggaeton Group, largely driven by the popularity of their track "A La My Love."
Active in modern Cuban music since 2008, the project has maintained a consistent release output. In 2025, they issued a wide selection of singles expanding their timba and fusion catalog, including "Cerveza," "GUAJIRO PERO CON CHICLE," "LA ESTAFA DEL BABALAO," "LA CALOR," "LA LIPO," and "DONALD TRUMP."
