Yanfourd Ismael Sime, professionally known as Yanfourd, is a Dominican salsa singer, songwriter, and musician. Born on May 20, 1988, in the Simón Bolívar neighborhood of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he was raised in a musical environment. His mother is Juana, a percussionist known as "Juana La Cubana" for the Dominican group Las Chicas del Can. In addition to singing, Yanfourd is a songwriter, guitarist, and güirero, specializing in the romantic salsa genre.
He entered the commercial music scene with the release of his debut studio album, La Traición, in 2014, which featured the single "Pirata de Amor." The release established his presence on international Latin charts, including Billboard. Yanfourd continued releasing music into the next decade, with the 2024 single "El Amor de Mi Vida" and the 2025 singles "Corazón en Soledad" and "Invéntame."
