
Lucy Grau is a Cuban-American salsa singer born on July 26 in Miami Beach, Florida. Born to Cuban exile parents, she developed a deep connection to Cuban music and culture from an early age. She launched her professional solo career in 2012 and became known for blending salsa and disco, earning her the title of "The Queen of Salsa-Disco." Musician Carlos Oliva also dubbed her "The Heiress of the Miami Sound" (La Heredera Del Sonido De Miami).
Grau's recording career began with her 2012 release, a salsa version of "Last Dance." This was followed by the album "Alocada" in 2013. Her notable releases continued with her self-titled album "Lucy Grau" and her salsa cover of "I'm Coming Out" in 2015, as well as a salsa rendition of "Heaven Knows" in 2017. In 2018, she released the album "A Peticion...", demonstrating her dynamic vocal range and performance skills on domestic and international stages.
Her discography expanded into the next decade with singles such as "Si Piensas, Si Quieres" in 2019, "Una Mujer Tremenda (Remastered 2022)," "Que Sera de Ti" in 2023, and her 2025 single "Pin Pon Fuera."
