Harold Montañez is a salsa and timba vocalist and the son of Puerto Rican singer Andy Montañez. He spent 35 years performing as a backing vocalist and lead singer for a world-renowned salsa orchestra. His early recording history includes the 1988 album "El Comienzo Del Camino," released under the name Harold Y Andy Montañez, which featured the song "Con El Permiso De Mi Sentimientos."
In 2020, Montañez released the single "Alimentalo." He followed this in 2022 with "Si Te Sientes Down," a comeback single written, arranged, and produced by Isidro Infante. His solo catalog continued to expand with the singles "Renacer" and "Ella" in 2024, as well as "Orgulloso De Ser Latino" in 2025. In 2026, he released the studio album "Ni Amigos Ni Amantes."
