Joseph Amado

Joseph Amado, born on October 19, 1974, in Caracas, Venezuela, is a salsa singer and producer known professionally as "Amado La Voz." He is recognized for his tribute performances dedicated to the music of Héctor Lavoe, often backed by members of the Lavoe Orchestra. Rather than operating as a direct imitator, Amado performs Lavoe's classic repertoire using a unique vocal and symphonic approach.

His signature concert format, "Lavoe Sinfónico," integrates classical string sections with traditional salsa orchestration. Amado has toured this format successfully throughout Colombia, including a performance at the Simón Bolívar Park in Bogotá. In 2025, Amado released the single "Superhéroe."
