Moisés Patricio González Pérez, known professionally as Moise González, is a singer-songwriter, percussionist, and music producer from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, born on March 10, 1972. Raised in a musical family by a guitarist father and a mother who performed traditional folk dances, González began playing percussion at six years old in local carnivals and cultural festivals. He initiated his professional recording career as a percussionist for labels managed by Alberto Segura before transitioning into singing and production, focusing primarily on romantic salsa and Latin pop.
Over his career, González has been closely associated with the Son Iyá Orchestra, a Canary Islands-based ensemble founded in 2000 that has worked under the direction of international salsa figures such as Ramón Sánchez, Tommy Olivencia, Isidro Infante, and Luis García.
His catalog as a lead artist features releases such as the single "Vamos a Celebrar" and "Cuando tus ojos me miran," a 2025 collaboration with Puerto Rican vocalist Tony Vega.
