
Riverita y su Orquesta Noche Caliente is a salsa and mambo group directed by Héctor Rivera, a Puerto Rican U.S. Army veteran known artistically as "Riverita." The group debuted in 2015 with the single "Tu agua dulce," which featured lead vocalist José Reyes and singer Verónica Próspero. The orchestra released its self-titled debut album in 2019, followed by the album "Romántico" in 2020.
The group's 2022 single "Versos de Amor," featuring lead vocals by José Reyes, earned the group the "Salsa Superior Award 2024" for "Best Song." That same year, they released the album "Mi Linda Música." In 2023, the orchestra explored a different musical direction with the album "En Tiempo de Bolero," which featured collaborations with vocalists Tony Rivas, José Reyes, and Danny Rivera Jr.
In 2024, the orchestra released a new salsa arrangement of the ballad "Madrigal," arranged by Alberto Crespo and sung by Danny Rivera Jr. The group has continued to release new material, including the singles "Si Tú Supieras" in 2025 and "Ella Me Ha Amado" in 2026.
