
Isidro Infante is a Puerto Rican pianist, composer, arranger, bandleader, and producer. Born on August 12, 1952, in Puerta de Tierra, San Juan, to Dr. Isidoro Infante and Carmen Santiago, he was musically inspired from an early age by his father's violin playing. He first became active in performing at age 14, joining a band that covered music by groups like Santana and Chicago.
Throughout his career, Infante has worked across a variety of musical genres, including classical, pop, Latin jazz, and salsa. Recognized for his piano techniques and arrangements, he has led his own orchestras and produced numerous recordings. His musical work has also appeared on film soundtracks, such as In Search of a Dream (1997), Junk Food (1997), and Salsa and Love (1999).
Infante's recorded contributions include the 2020 release Lo Mejor, followed by the albums Salsa De La Buena and Dancemania in 2022, alongside the single El Tabaco.
