Orquesta La Central is a salsa orchestra based in Medellín, Colombia. Directed by the musician known as Chickipiano, the ensemble was formerly known as Eslabón All Star and has roots in the region's music scene. The group features a full orchestral format, bringing together musicians from various countries—including Colombia, Chile, and Venezuela—to merge classic salsa traditions with contemporary influences.
The group officially debuted under its current name in 2021 with the release of the single "Palo y Candela," followed closely by "El Malote" later that year. They sustained their output with the 2022 singles "Errante y Bohemio" and "Volver a Verte," and the 2023 release "Se Te Hizo Tarde."
Orquesta La Central has remained active with a string of subsequent singles. In 2024, they released "Hoy Quiero Amanecer," "Tu Teléfono," and "Se Me Fueron Las Ganas." They followed these with "Quiereme" in 2025, and continued into 2026 with "Pensamiento," "Rumbón Melón," and "Godín Guidón."
