Raul San Miguel, born Raul Martínez on September 29 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is a salsa artist who was raised in New York. Performing under his artistic name, he is recognized for blending the classic style of New York salsa with a contemporary, youthful sensibility. He began his musical path around 2010.
Since entering the recording landscape, San Miguel has released a consistent stream of singles. His early catalog includes the 2020 singles "Querida Amiga", "Mujer Solitaria", and "Amare", followed by "Hasta Que Me Olvides" in 2021. He continued to build his repertoire in 2022 with the releases of "Tengo El Iddé", "Amor En La Distancia", and "Mi Pesadilla".
His active output continued into the mid-2020s. In 2024, he released the singles "Cuánto Añoro", "Cuidado", and "Por Ella". This was followed in 2025 by "TURiSTA" and "No Tiene Sentido", maintaining his presence within the modern salsa genre.
