Tito Puente, Jr. is an American bandleader, percussionist, songwriter, and producer. Born in New York City, he is the son of the legendary mambo musician Tito Puente and the brother of New York City meteorologist Audrey Puente. He studied music and composition in his native city and initially played in a heavy metal band before transitioning to Latin music.
