Porfi Baloa

Víctor Porfirio Baloa Díaz, professionally known as Porfi Baloa, is a Venezuelan musician, composer, producer, and arranger born in Caracas on September 19. He is the founder and director of the salsa group Adolescent's Orquesta, which he established in 1993. The group's debut album, Reclamando Nuestro Espacio, was released in 1994, establishing them in the Latin music industry.

Baloa wrote and arranged the group's major hits of the 1990s, including Anhelo, Persona Ideal, and Virgen. His arrangements combine romantic melodies with driving salsa percussion and brass. He has toured and recorded both as the director of his orchestra and under his own name, focusing on salsa and timba genres.

In recent years, Baloa has continued to release new music. His catalog from 2022 includes the album Porfi Baloa and Lado B (En Vivo), alongside singles like Frente a mi Ventana (En Vivo). His subsequent releases include the singles El Tren in 2023, No Te Quedes Sin Bailar in 2024, and Déjame Dormir in 2025. He also released the concert album Live in Miami (En Vivo 2025) in 2025, followed by the single Infidelidad in 2026.
