Jonathan Miguel Moly Calero, known professionally as Jonathan Moly, is a Venezuelan singer, songwriter, and producer born on July 13, 1993. Raised in a musical household, his father is the Venezuelan merengue singer Miguel Moly and his mother is Inés MarÃa Calero, Miss Venezuela 1987. Moly initially entered the music industry as a member of the boy band Kashmir before joining the salsa teen group SalserÃn, where he performed for four years before launching his solo career.
As a solo artist, Moly expanded his style to fuse salsa, merengue, and tropical pop. He gained international traction with songs like "Sayonara" (featuring Jerry Rivera), "Te Besaré," "Piensa en MÃ," and "Una Bendición." His album "Metamorfosis" was accompanied by a documentary titled "Metamorfosis - El Documental," which detailed his creative process.
Since active in the salsa catalog starting in 2011, Moly has continued to record regularly. His recent work includes the 2025 album "Reset" alongside a steady stream of singles including "AntiMoly: Revelado," "Que Suerte," "Carito," "Se Fue," and the 2024 release "Holy Moly Christmas."
