Daniela Alejandra Darcourt Escurra is a Peruvian singer, dancer, and actress performing in the salsa and timba genres. She began her musical studies in 2004 at the National Conservatory of Music of Peru. Darcourt first gained widespread recognition in 2012 as a finalist on the television competition Peru Tiene Talento.
Before her solo career, Darcourt served as a vocalist for the Peruvian salsa orchestra Son Tentación for two years. In 2018, she transitioned to a solo artist, debuting with the album 'Esa soy yo,' which was recorded in the Dominican Republic under the direction of the producer Master. Her work has earned her multiple Premios Luces awards as Best Tropical Artist.
Darcourt's solo discography includes the 2024 album 'Renacer,' as well as a series of singles including 'Sólo Es una Amiga' (2024), 'No Me Debes Nada' (2025), and 'Esencia' (2026). She continues to perform internationally, headlining concerts in Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
