Zahily La Margarita, also known as "Margarita de Cuba," is a singer and performer of traditional Cuban music. She began releasing music under her name in 2022, debuting with the single "Yembe Laroco." In the following years, she expanded her discography with singles such as "No Encuentro Palabras" and "El Merengue" in 2023, followed by her 2024 release "Mango Mangue."
In 2025, she collaborated with Puerto Rican troubadour and sonero Julio César Sanabria on the single "Cuba y Puerto Rico Son." Composed by Cuban musician and rapper Flores GarcÃa, the track highlights the cultural ties between the two Caribbean nations through a vocal dialogue and instrumentation featuring the Puerto Rican cuatro and the Cuban laúd. Her other 2025 single releases include "El Rokanroll" and "Oye Como Suena Mi Bongó."
