Dayhan Díaz is a Colombian-Cuban trumpeter, producer, arranger, and educator. Born in Havana, Cuba, he studied music at the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory. He later moved to Colombia, where he worked as an academic, serving as a professor at both the Universidad del Atlántico in Barranquilla and the Universidad del Bosque in Bogotá. He eventually relocated to Miami, Florida, where he continues his career as a producer and performer.
As a recording artist, Díaz frequently bridges traditional Cuban styles, bolero, and salsa. He has led projects such as "Época de Oro" with Conjunto Tradicional, and the collaborative series "Canciones con amigos", which features guest contributions from prominent Latin artists such as Andrés Cepeda, Santiago Cruz, Jorge Villamizar, Rey Ruiz, Maía, and Chabuco.
Díaz's discography includes the album "Canciones Con Amigos (Vol. 2)" (2022), alongside singles like "El Malecón Vio el Final" (2022), "La Que No Escribí" (2023), and "Sin Forma" (2025). His catalog extends through 2026 with the release of the album "Algo Nuevo De Ayer".
