Pedrito Lama is a Dominican salsa singer born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He began his musical training at the age of 13 playing percussion, eventually relocating to the eastern region of Bávaro upon reaching adulthood. In 2015, he joined the prominent Dominican salsa group Chiquito Team Band, performing as a lead vocalist on notable tracks such as "La Llamada de Mi Ex" and "Otro DÃa Más Sin Verte."
Lama later transitioned to a solo career, signing with the record label MP Musical Productions. His initial solo releases in the catalog began with "Es Culpa MÃa" in 2020, followed by the 2022 singles "Ya No Somos Ni Seremos" and "No Te Perdono." In 2023, he released his studio album "Solitario," alongside the singles "Tu Tiempo Paso" and "Relacion Clandestina."
He has continued to release material under MP Musical Productions, including the 2024 singles "Donde Estes Con Quien Estes" and "Manuela." In 2025, Lama collaborated with artist Beto Collado on the single "Asuntos Del Amor," which was composed by Remy Núñez and produced by Juan and Nelson.
