Paky Madarena is an Italian DJ, producer, and selector specializing in salsa, timba, and son cubano. Born on May 19, 1975, in Catanzaro, Italy, he began his DJing career in 1995, performing at tourist resorts and local events. His focus shifted toward Cuban music in 1999 after attending a Latin dance course, which sparked his interest in Cuban rhythms. Over the years, he has worked as a DJ for international Latin music events and platforms, including Salson Radio, the Only Salsa Festival in France, Timba Paradise in Germany, and the Festival Cuba in Tunisia.
Madarena's recording and production activity includes several singles released under specialized labels like 3 Sound Record. He debuted with the single "Mi Timbaton" in 2014, followed by "Bailando y Gozando (compiled by Paky Madarena)" in 2016. His later releases include "Que No Se Muera La Salsa" and "Navidad Latina" in 2021, "Amistad" in 2024, and "Tu Cariñito" in 2025.
