Liz Castillo (born Marielys Castillo Prieto on September 20, 1985, in Pinar del Río, Cuba) is a Cuban singer and songwriter. Originally performing across a wide span of genres including pop, ballads, flamenco, and rock, she later expanded her focus into tropical dance music, salsa, and timba. She is currently based in Havana, Cuba.
Castillo began releasing recorded music in 2018 with the single "Y Te Quedaste". In 2019, she issued her debut album, "Cosas Contigo", which blended pop, ballad, and vallenato styles alongside salsa music that garnered international attention. This was followed by the single "Otra Piel" the same year.
She has continued to record and release music in the salsa and timba genres. Her subsequent releases include the 2025 single "Veneno De Amor" and the 2026 album "Romantica y Salseando", alongside her single "Lluvia".
