Avelino Romero is a Venezuelan singer-songwriter, producer, and bandleader. Before establishing himself as a solo artist and director of his own band, Romero gained experience performing as a soloist for prominent Venezuelan musical groups, including Carángano and Gran Coquivacoa.
His solo discography consists of various salsa and timba releases, beginning in the catalog with the 2013 single "Quinto Dia." This was followed by tracks such as "Naci Para Quererte" and "Y Solo un Frío en Mi Quedó" in 2016, "El Viaje" in 2017, and "Si No Tengo a Dios (Versión Salsa)" in 2019. In 2021, Romero released "Hoy He Venido" and the single "Acá Encerrado."
In 2022, Romero released "Muñeca," followed in 2023 by live tribute medley recordings dedicated to the music of Marc Anthony and Luis Enrique. His musical output has continued into the mid-2020s with the singles "Quiero Olvidarte" in 2024 and "Bendita Pena" in 2025.
