Tanisha, born Denisha Galarza Figueroa, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter from the municipality of Guayanilla. She began her musical training at the Ernesto Ramos Antonini specialized school in Yauco, where she studied vocal performance before pursuing a professional career in salsa music.
She started releasing her own music in 2020, debuting with the singles "Entiendo tu partida" and "Dijiste que confiabas". Tanisha maintained a steady output of single releases over the next several years, including the 2021 tracks "OYE" and "Mi corazon te llama", followed by "No hay que impida quererte" in 2022 and "Ya No Se Siente Igual" in 2023.
In 2024, Tanisha continued to expand her catalog with several singles. Her releases that year included "I'll Be There", a merengue version of "TUSA", and a salsa arrangement of "FANTASÍAS".
