Michel Robles Ramos is a Cuban singer, songwriter, and bandleader born in Havana in 1983. He began his professional musical career at the age of 15 when he joined the Cuban band Meteoro. He subsequently performed with Pedro Pablo Gutiérrez y su Rebambaramba, followed by a tenure with Maykel Blanco y su Suprema Ley.
In 2002, Robles relocated to Lima, Peru, initially arriving to work on a temporary contract. He permanently settled in the country, eventually establishing his own orchestra, Michel Robles y El Sello, and becoming a naturalized Peruvian citizen. His work primarily blends traditional salsa with contemporary timba.
Robles has released a steady succession of singles throughout his career. His early catalog includes the 2019 releases "Cuando Nos Reconciliamos" and "Juramos Ser Amigos Nada Más," followed by "Ahora Aguántate" in 2020. Between 2021 and 2023, he produced tracks such as "Ayer Pedí," "Brujeria," "Necio Corazón (Remix Salsa)," "La Ricocha," and "Lo Que No Fue No Sera." His 2024 releases include "En Mis Manos," "Casándome Contigo," and "El Diamante."
