
Edwin Quiñóñez, known professionally as La Kutty, is an Ecuadorian salsa choke and urban music artist. He first rose to prominence in Ecuador in 2016 alongside his musical collaborator Junior Vallecilla (La Chicho) when the duo made their national television debut on the program Ecuador Tiene Talento. Their musical style is characterized by a fusion of salsa choke, traditional salsa, and reggaeton.
Throughout his career, La Kutty has released a steady stream of singles. His 2024 output includes tracks such as "La fruteria", "El Pozzo", "El Pie Y La Mano", "Follamos y Botamos", "Achaki Caramba Chaki", "Mirka Quiere Saber", and "Be Yo Que Se". This was followed by a series of 2025 releases, including "SIENTE EL KI", "GRILLIBIRY2", "El Palo Del Año", "La Diabla", and "El Peor Hombre Del Mundo".
On the night of February 6, 2025, Edwin Quiñóñez and Junior Vallecilla were the victims of an armed attack at a commercial plaza in the La Aurora sector of the Daule canton, located in the Guayas province of Ecuador.
