Salsa White Lion is a record label and music project founded by prominent music industry executive Elías De León, who is also known for founding White Lion Records and working with major urban artists such as Tego Calderón and Daddy Yankee. De León established the Salsa White Lion imprint to identify, develop, and export contemporary salsa talent from Puerto Rico, focusing on showcasing traditional Puerto Rican salsa gorda to a global audience.
The project's early catalog includes releases by rising Puerto Rican salsa singer El Propio, who debuted on the label with singles like Uju Ajá and Híbrida. Credited as a performing entity on platforms and releases, Salsa White Lion released the single Portarnos Mal in 2025.
