Grupo Galé is a Colombian salsa band from Medellín, Colombia, founded and led by musical director and percussionist Diego Galé. The group features strong familial ties, including Diego's brother Jimmy playing timbales, his brother Freddy playing saxophone, and involvement from their father Jaime Galé. Before forming the group, Diego Galé established a comprehensive career in Colombian tropical music, performing as a percussionist with Grupo Niche and Sonora Dinamita, as well as serving as a musical director for Grupo Caneo.
