Diego Galé is a Colombian music producer, composer, and percussionist born in Medellín on December 22. The son of bolero singer Jaime Galé, he developed an interest in music during his youth, ultimately dedicating his career to the study and integration of Afro-Cuban rhythms. He has achieved recognition as both a Grammy-winning and Latin Grammy-nominated artist and producer.
Throughout his career, Galé has worked alongside prominent figures in the tropical music industry. He has been invited on multiple occasions to perform as a percussionist with the Fania All-Stars and has collaborated with artists such as Luis Enrique, Marc Anthony, Olga Tañón, and Julio Voltio.
Galé has also maintained a steady career as a recording artist, with a catalog of salsa releases spanning over two decades. His work includes the 2002 album "Padre E Hijo", historical live recordings like "Music History (En Vivo)" (2022) and "Live Anniversary" (2023), as well as recent singles like "Salsa De Marisco" (2024) and the album "Lo Que Tú Querías" (2025).
