Descemer Bueno is a Cuban singer, songwriter, and producer born on July 5, 1971. He studied classical guitar at the Manuel Saumell and Amadeo Roldán conservatories in Havana. His early professional career began playing bass for the Cuban troubadour Santiago Feliú, and in 1990, he co-founded a jazz group.
Throughout his career, Bueno has collaborated with various notable musicians across jazz, pop, and world music, including Steve Coleman, David Sánchez, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Billy Higgins, Tootie Heath, Rufus Reid, and the Dave Matthews Band.
Active in the Latin music scene with a catalog dating back to 2005, Bueno has continued to release music regularly. His recent singles include 2024's "Fruta Prohibida" and "BYE BYE," followed by 2025 releases such as "Encontrarnos Otra Vez," "El Arco De La Bondad," "Un Corazón Con Pies," and "Desde que estamos juntos."
