Eduardo Padua was born in 1977 in Brooklyn, New York. A year later, his family moved back to Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, where he grew up. He discovered his interest in music at the age of seven during a family Christmas gathering, known as "Parrandas Navideñas," where he first developed an interest in playing the congas and bongos.
He eventually established himself as a percussionist, composer, and producer. In 2019, Padua launched his recording career with the single "Te Utilizan" featuring vocalist Héctor Luis Pagan, a track he also composed. This was followed in 2020 by "Y para Qué" and "Que Nos Paso," the latter featuring singer-songwriter Max Rosado. This collaboration was composed by Lucia Mercado, arranged by Israel Nieves, and produced by Padua.
Between 2021 and 2025, Padua regularly released new music, including "Lo Tuyo Lo Mio" (2021), "Mi Plena" (2022), "Union DC" (2023), and "Me Rompe el Coco" (2024), followed by the 2025 singles "Dame Tu Amistad" and "Vuelve Mi Amor." An official Gon Bops artist, Padua won consecutive HIMA Awards in 2023 and 2024.
