Rafael José Brito Materano, commercially known as Rafael "Pollo" Brito, is a Venezuelan singer-songwriter, composer, and television presenter born in Caracas on November 14, 1971. He is highly recognized for his mastery of the Venezuelan cuatro, utilizing the instrument to blend traditional Afro-Venezuelan folkloric rhythms with pop music.
Throughout his career, Brito has released notable albums, including De Repente, Una Casita Bella Para Ti, and Se Canta Venezolano. In addition to his primary work as a recording artist, he has also served as a television presenter and musical competition judge in Venezuela.
His discography features strong salsa and tropical influences, shown in live tribute projects and original single releases.
