La Chiquito Team Band is a Dominican salsa group formed in 2012 by founders Rafael Berroa (known as Chiquito Timbal) and Enmanuel Frías (known as Manuel Piano). Both musicians possessed years of experience in the Dominican Republic's popular music scene prior to launching the band. Frías serves as the orchestra's arranger and producer, establishing the group's signature sound, while vocalists like Alberto María, Kelvin Saviñon, and Lugo Santana have performed as part of the core vocal lineup.
Primarily focused on salsa and merengue, the group has spent over a decade releasing studio and live recordings. Their discography includes the 2024 album "A Nuestro Estilo" alongside a wide array of single releases. Among their major recordings in the mid-2020s are the 2025 single "Te Vi Venir" and several 2024 live session tracks, including "Porque Será (Live Session)", "Otro Día Más Sin Verte (Live Session)", and "Popurrí Navideño".
