Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco is a Cuban orchestra founded by pianist, composer, and producer Manolito Simonet. The ensemble, featuring between 14 and 16 musicians, performs a wide repertoire spanning timba, salsa, son cubano, and cha cha cha. Over a career lasting more than 25 years, the group has toured internationally and established a recognized presence in contemporary Cuban music.
The orchestra's discography includes studio releases such as Trabuco Una Vez Mas (2010), Loco por Tu Beses (2013), Homenaje a las Charangas (2014), Sin Freno (2015), No Puedo Parar (2015), and La Timba la Traigo Yo (2018). Representing their musical versatility, in 2022 the group co-produced and recorded the track Candela for pop artists Alvaro Soler and Nico Santos.
In recent years, the band has continued to release new material regularly. This includes the 2023 album Trabuco, alongside a succession of singles including Cabeza Loca (2020), Locos Por Mi Habana (2021), Amistad Es Una Calle (2023), Cantarle un Son (2024), and Marcando la distancia (2025).
