Alberto Barros, known as "El Titán de la Salsa," is a Colombian trombonist, vocalist, composer, arranger, and music producer. Born on November 30 in Barranquilla, Colombia, Barros was raised in a musical household. His father, the composer José Benito Barros, guided his musical education from an early age, leading him to begin formal music studies at the age of 14. Before establishing his own orchestra, Los Titanes, Barros built a career arranging music and playing trombone for major Colombian salsa acts, including Fruko y Sus Tesos.
Throughout his career, Barros has released music spanning the salsa and cumbia genres. His discography features live recordings, such as "Auditorio Nacional Ciudad de México, Vol. 01 (En Vivo)" in 2023, and a variety of singles including "La Última Vez" (2022), "Idilio" (2023), "La Murga" (2024), and "Que Voy a Hacer Sin Ti" (2025). He is also known for producing genre-specific medleys, such as "Rumbón Medley Salsa" and "Rumbón Medley Cumbia."
