Martín Edner Loyola Díaz, known artistically as Coti Loyola, is a Peruvian salsa and timba singer, musician, and music producer born on February 17, 1990, in Chimbote, Peru. Academically trained in sound engineering, Loyola is also a guitar and bass player. He first gained widespread public attention in Peru as a contestant on the singing competition television show La Voz Perú.
Throughout his career, Loyola has collaborated with prominent figures in the tropical music genre. He has performed as a vocalist in the orchestra of Colombian director Alberto Barros and collaborated with producer Tony Succar. Loyola's work includes participating in the live album 'Live in Peru' by Tony and Mimy Succar, which received a Grammy nomination. He is also the composer of the single 'Se nos fue el amor.'
As a solo artist, Loyola has released multiple albums and singles. His discography features the 'La Salsa la Pongo Yo' project, which includes studio releases from 2024, a deluxe edition in 2025, and the live recording 'La Salsa la Pongo Yo Desde el Teatro Segura'. His other releases in the salsa and timba genres include the live albums 'Pa Lante (En Vivo)' and 'Salsa Caliente, Vol. 01 (Live Session)', the collaborative project 'Suena WOW' with Orquesta Caña Brava, and contemporary singles like 'Boranda' and 'MI PEQUEÑA'.
