Belén Gal is an Argentine salsa singer, songwriter, and dancer born in the Lugano neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Raised in an artistic family, she studied musical comedy at the Julio Bocca School at the age of 17, where she developed her skills as a songwriter and dancer. She later relocated to Mexico City, where she has been based for over a decade.
Gal's musical style is characterized by a blend of Puerto Rican-style salsa with contemporary Latin elements like hip-hop and reggaeton, aiming to introduce non-conventional sounds to younger generations. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with other Latin music artists, including Yulién Oviedo.
Active in recording since 2017, Gal has released a steady succession of singles. In 2023, she published several tracks including "Mentira," "Soltera," "Suéltate el Pelo," "Tqg (Cover)," "Bachata Gris," and "Paisaje." She followed these in 2024 with "No Me Arrepiento," "Mala (Salsa Version)," "No Huyas De Mí (Salsa)," and "Evidencias." Her 2025 releases include the singles "Guardado" and "Corazón Salsero."
