Michael Stuart is an American salsa singer, songwriter, and actor born on January 13, 1975, in New York City to Puerto Rican parents. Prior to establishing himself as a solo artist, Stuart worked as a backup vocalist for prominent tropical music figures, including Johnny Rivera, Marc Anthony, and VĆctor Manuelle.
Stuart launched his solo recording career in 1996 with the release of his debut album, Cuentos de la Vecindad, on the RMM Records label. His musical output typically spans genres such as salsa, cha cha cha, and timba, bridging elements of traditional tropical music with contemporary influences.
Stuart has remained active in the music industry, releasing a consistent stream of singles. His later recordings include "La Latina", "Angel Eterno", and "Me Vales Madre" in 2020, "Bailemos" in 2022, and "De Placita Pa' La Sanse" in 2024. In 2025, he released several singles including "Soy De AquĆ", "Tres Soneros Tres Amigos", "Escuchando a Juan Luis", and "Nadie Sabe (VersiĆ³n 2025)".
