Yan Collazo is a Puerto Rican salsa singer born on October 4, 1978, in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Inspired by his father, who was also a singer during his youth, Collazo pursued a career in music that has spanned over fifteen years. He found early career success in Colombia, which served as a key launchpad before he established himself as a solo artist.
Throughout his career, Collazo has performed within the genres of salsa and salsa choke. His recorded works include the albums "Quiero volver a enamorarte" and "Valio La Pena Esperar" (released in 2024). His catalog also features the 2024 album "Otra Vez".
In 2025, Collazo released the compilation "Homenaje A Mi Idolo" alongside a series of singles, including "La Ultima Vez", "Buscaré Otro Amor", "Como Podré Disimular", "Nuestro Sueño", and "TRIBUTO AL CABALLERO DEL SON".
